Welcome to Concordia University's Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering

Thank you for your interest in Electrical & Computer (ECE) Engineering at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec.
Our award-winning faculty takes pride in our innovative research and energetic, hands-on teaching. Faculty members are open, friendly and available for students. In our program, students are permitted to write all assignments and exams in either English or French and students have a great variety of choices for electives.

"The engineering acumen and marketable job skills that my final-year ECE classes at Concordia enabled me to develop have helped me launch a successful and rewarding career in Silicon Valley. The overall accessibility that students have to professors and department staff allowed me to go beyond the textbook and learn more about the real world practice of hardware design, and thus I was able to take my class projects to the next level."
- Sean Roth (former student)

Both our Electrical and Computer engineering programs are accredited by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board. So, upon graduation you will be eligible to become a registered professional engineer and have the necessary skills for many jobs not only in Montreal, but throughout Canada and the United States.
